Pricing

You work from estimates. So here are the numbers.

Hiding price reads as evasive to contractors specifically, because you quote for a living. Below is what a build costs, what a retainer costs, what pushes the number up, and what we will never charge you extra for.

Website builds

Scoped by page count, not by design hours.

Foundation

Starts at $7,000

CAD · up to 5 pages

Single-trade contractor, one service area.

  • Home, one service page, about, contact
  • Safety, certifications and insurance
  • Custom design and schema markup
  • Quote form and launch QA

Growth

Starts at $15,000

CAD · up to 20 pages

Established contractor, three to six service lines.

  • Everything in Foundation, plus:
  • A page per service line and sector
  • Filterable project portfolio and service-area map
  • Crew bios and an FAQ layer
  • Conversion tracking on every enquiry

Scale

Starts at $30,000

CAD · 20+ pages

Multi-region GC, or one sector deep enough to need it.

  • Everything in Growth, plus:
  • A region × sector matrix and capability hubs
  • Careers portal with job board and trade applications
  • Integrations: CRM, ATS or equipment inventory
  • Interactive project and asset maps
  • Ongoing content production

Retainers

Maintenance and SEO, monthly.

Essential

$300/mo

Updates, backups, uptime, security, one hour of edits.

Performance

$500/mo

The above plus quarterly project write-ups and certification review.

Enterprise

$3,000/mo

Unlimited routine edits, portfolio and careers management, integration monitoring.

SEO retainers run separately, from CAD $1,500 a month. Whether that is worth buying depends entirely on your sector — the honest version is on the SEO page.

What drives the price up

Usually one of these five.

  • Page count. More service lines, sectors and locations means more pages, and each one needs writing.
  • Portfolio size. Twelve project write-ups is a different job from forty.
  • Integrations. CRM, ATS, job boards, equipment inventory — each is real development work.
  • Content state. If everything needs rewriting from scratch rather than editing, that is the largest single variable.
  • Migration complexity. A 300-page legacy site with a decade of URLs needs a redirect map built properly.

Never an extra

Things some agencies charge for that we do not.

  • Getting your files back if you leave.
  • Hosting migration, in or out.
  • Domain or DNS access. It stays in your name throughout.
  • The redirect map when we rebuild your site.
  • Handover training and documentation.
  • Telling you that you do not need the thing you asked for.

Questions about cost

Why is there a range rather than a fixed price?

Because a five-page site for a single-trade contractor and a twenty-page site for a multi-sector GC are not the same job. You get a fixed quote after a discovery call, before any work starts — the ranges exist so you can tell whether we are in your bracket before spending time on a call.

Do you charge hourly?

No. Fixed price per phase, agreed in writing. Hourly billing punishes you for our inefficiency and makes the total unknowable, which is exactly what you dislike about it when a sub does it to you.

What is the payment schedule?

Typically 40% to start, 30% at design and content sign-off, 30% at launch. For Scale engagements we split it across more milestones so neither side is carrying too much.

Is the maintenance plan mandatory?

No. The site is yours and it will keep running. But WordPress needs updating, backups need testing, and the sites that get compromised are consistently the ones nobody was watching.

Do you offer payment plans?

For Foundation and Growth builds we can spread payments over the project rather than tie them to milestones, which some contractors prefer for cash-flow reasons. Ask on the call.

What if we only need one page fixed?

Then say so, and we will quote a few hours rather than a build. Not every problem is a rebuild, and we would rather do the small job well than talk you into a large one.

Get a fixed quote in one call.

Forty-five minutes on your sectors, service areas and what the site has to do. You leave with a number and a scope, not a proposal deck three weeks later.
