Privacy policy

Two things, and only two.

What you type into the contact form. Your name, email address, phone number if you give it, company name, sector, market, primary goal, budget band, current website URL and your message.

Basic analytics. Pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate region, device type and a first-touch referral source stored in your browser. We do not collect names, addresses or payment information through analytics.

Form submissions are used to reply to your enquiry and, if we end up working together, to run the project. Nothing more. We do not add enquiries to a marketing list without asking, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone, ever.

Analytics tells us which pages are useful and which are not, so we can improve the site.

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party ad or social tracking scripts.

It does store two values in your browser’s local storage: a random identifier for your visit and the source you first arrived from. These are attached to a form submission if you send one, so we can tell which pages generate real enquiries. Clearing your browser data removes both.

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after twenty-four months. Records relating to projects we delivered are kept for seven years, which is the retention period for business records in Alberta. Analytics data is retained for fourteen months.

Form submissions arrive by email and are stored in our email system. Our website hosting is provided by SiteGround. Analytics is provided by Google Analytics. Each of those providers processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

We do not share your information with anyone else, and we will not respond to a request for it without a lawful obligation to do so.

Under Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act and Canada’s PIPEDA, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond within thirty days. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.

The site is served over HTTPS. Form data is transmitted over an encrypted connection and access to the mailbox receiving it is restricted and password-protected. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise — if a breach affected your information we would tell you.

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
